Sofia Söderberg’s team at Castello Banfi were awarded the title “Best Pastry Chef in Italy”.
When Sofia finished her specialization at Culinary Arts Academy, she packed her bags and moved to Italy for an internship with a luxury hotel in the vineyards of Tuscany. Impressed with her skills, Castello Banfi hired Sofia as a pastry chef after completing the internship.

From the beginning, I have felt good and safe here as we work together like a family. Everyone helps each other without the hierarchy you see in so many other restaurants. And working in the Italian countryside with views of the vineyards is absolutely amazing!
