On Monday 24th June 2019, the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland was honoured to receive the Recognition of Quality Culinary Education certification by the prestigious World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WORLDCHEFS), for its Culinary & Pastry programmes. The Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland is the first school in Switzerland to receive the recognition, which is an international endorsement renowned in the culinary world.
The WORLDCHEFS is a global network of chefs association founded in 1928, Paris and is dedicated to maintain and improve culinary standards of cuisines around the world. The first Honorary President of WORLDCHEFS was culinary legend and the first Executive Chef of the Ritz Paris, Auguste Escoffier. At present the association now includes over 100 renowned chefs specialising in all sectors of the culinary industry including Anton Mosimann OBE, who is also an exclusive partner of Swiss Education Group.
The WORLDCHEFS launched the Recognition of Quality Culinary Education programme in 2010 to establish international standards in culinary education. To receive the recognition, the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland’s academic programmes were reviewed by a panel of WORLDCHEFS members who evaluated matters relating to global quality standards, evaluation of leadership, instructors, facilities, lesson delivery, industry and educational support and food safety.
The Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland faculty are very proud to receive the Recognition of Quality Culinary Education certification and to receive such positive feedback by the WORLDCHEFS professionals.
