Mr. Alberto Gozzi was on site at the Culinary Arts Academy to give a culinary table-side demonstration.
With his personally developed professional ALESSI cooking materials in hand, Mr. Alberto Gozzi was on site at the Culinary Arts Academy on December 12, 2014 to give a culinary table-side demonstration for the Year 3 Food Development Project students. Featuring several recipes, Mr. Gozzi shared the evolutionary story of past to modern kitchen crockery and introduced his famous pasta pot he designed in collaboration with celebrity French chef Alain Ducasse.
Following the demonstration, the students were challenged to use traditional cooking equipment to prepare a unique risotto recipe. Mr. Gozzi prepared the same recipe using his state-of-the-art equipment and the end result showed a dramatic difference with additional creaminess, texture, flavour and a perfect cooking stage (doneness!) from Mr. Gozzi’s risotto.
One of the participating students shared: "It was very interesting to see Mr. Gozzi demonstrate his recipes with so much attention to detail and perfectionism!" It was an honour to have Mr. Gozzi visit our classroom. He is welcome back anytime!
